ROUTE

DAY 1: Dakar

Welcome dinner. In the afternoon there will be a briefing where we will explain the dynamics of the trip. We will check the bikes and everything is ok to start the route. There will be a presentation of the staff and each participant, we will comment on issues to be taken into account as currency, communications, customs, etc … We will deliver our welcome pack and leave everything ready for the next day.

DAY 2: Dakar – Palmarin 170kms

Breakfast at the hotel. The route starts from the Senegalese capital through areas with a large influx of people, we will have to be careful with traffic and some animals that may cross on the track. Short stage to take a first contact with the country and its people. We will arrive at the Saloum Delta, where we will stay in a very charming place. In the afternoon we will be able to make a canoe trip along the river and see the variety of fauna and flora of the region. Dinner at the hotel and briefing the next day.

DAY 3: Palmarin – Tambacuonda 406kms

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to the interior of the country, passing through Kaolack and the animal reserves in the area. We will go through some of the tracks of the Paris-Dakar rally when it was still ending at the Lac Rose. We will have to have special attention in the local population, since they are zones of little transit by the tourists and they are not accustomed to see pass motorcycles by their towns. Dinner at the hotel and briefing the next day.

DAY 4: Tambacuonda – Tambacuonda 235kms

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure at the appointed time, today the route will be a loop over Tambacuonda. The route will pass through spectacular areas, it will be very normal to find loose animals in the area because the shepherds in the area usually leave their herds very scattered, on that will have to be especially careful, tracks of much dust in dry season, much attention in navigation, there will be areas difficult to find the right course. In the afternoon we will make an excursion to one of the most important national parks in the country, Niokolo-Koba National Park. Dinner at the hotel and briefing the next day.

DAY 5: Tambacuonda – Lompoul 450kms

Breakfast at the hotel. Today the route is the longest in the country, we will return to the coast, this time we will go through more routes of the old Paris-Dakar, take care of the population and animals especially as we approach Lompoul. We will arrive at the tents camp in Lompoul, where the entrance will be a good test of driving in sand, since this camp is in some small dunes near the beach. Dinner at the Tents and briefing the next day.

DAY 6: Lompoul – St.Louis 180kms

Breakfast at the Jaimas. We will leave on route to the north of the country, a very fun and interesting route where the pilots will be able to enjoy the navigation and the piloting, populated zones where it will be necessary to have a lot of attention with the people to the step along the villages. We will arrive at the fantastic city of St. Louis where we will take a tour of the city to see the frenetic activity of the city. In the evening, dinner at the hotel and briefing the next day. For the more curious we can go to see the nightlife of the city and see typical Senegalese traditional dance venues.

DAY 7: St. Louis – Lago Rosa 210kms

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure from the city towards the south to do the beach route, in this stage we will cross part of the previous day in inverse sense and we will connect with the Senegalese beach, arriving until the mythical Pink Lake by the beach, later the route will make us give a return to the lake and we will finish in this fantastic trip with a great party and farewell dinner.
